If I had to choose a second favorite clothing item, after my beloved chambray shirt, it would definitely be the sweater blazer! Similar to the chambray shirt in versatility and the ability to pull your outfit together.
When someone recently asked me for sweater blazer recommendations, particularly for petites, I jumped at the chance to create a sweater blazer style board. I personally have three of the blazers pictured, and wear them often, year after year. I love them as an easy, comfortable yet stylish layering piece! Since the question was specifically for petite, I chose sweater blazers for the board in styles that were available in petite, standard and plus. For petite, the key is to get the right length in the body and the arms. If needed, a good tailor can alter it just for you. I will add more recommendations below.

J.Crew Factory – Great quality and price point. They have classic colors and occasionally expand into even more colors. They generally offer petite, standard and plus sizing, however at the moment the options are a bit sparse.
They do have petite sizes in the black and tan as of this posting. You can style the collar laying flat or lift it up; both look chic!
Another style also at J.CrewFactory has a more relaxed shawl collar and patch pockets. It currently offers more colors than the previous style and I just love these pictured below. Again the classic and plus sizing is minimal, but they have a good run in the petite sizes:
Ann Taylor – I found a nice option here available in standard and petite sizing. It is a combination of the notched collar and patch pockets from the styles pictured above.
Ann Taylor also has an oversized Navy option and striped sweater blazer offered in standard sizes only.
Talbots – A retailer that I believe does classic wardrobe pieces and petites really well! I personally find blazers (both sweater and regular) from here often. If you find something you love, they have their Friends & Family sale happening right now! Here are the sweater blazers they are currently offering and they are available in petite, standard and plus sizing. The second option has 6 different colors right now!
