I am hearing this everywhere, but nothing else feels as true as: “I can’t believe it is June already!” And June brings the official start to summer, blooming flowers and of course Father’s Day.
I am lucky to have an amazing father, who I have learned so much from and inspires me every day! My husband is the best father to our kids and he had an incredible father growing up as well.
I put together a couple style boards, each geared towards something you may do to celebrate dad!
As always, the links on the style boards and throughout the blog post are affiliate links. This means that while the product is the same cost to you, I may make a small commission and it allows me to continue to provide this inspiration for free. Thank you for supporting me, I really appreciate it!
Click on the image of the style board to shop everything shown together on the board. I have also included links to individual items that coordinate or complete the looks on the board and you can shop those by clicking directly on the image. If something is sold out, please email me and I am happy to send you an alternative.
Let’s start with the classic summer activity that most dads would enjoy – the BBQ

I went with an overall Americana style for everyone. Let’s start with dad – classic khakis are a wardrobe staple that can take you from the golf course to many summer events. I paired them with this navy blue linen blend button down shirt and white tennis shoes.
For the women’s look, I chose this red nautical stripe t-shirt dress from Draper James and slide sandals in a neutral tan. Layer on a denim jacket if needed.
The older kids are casual and cute with the gingham dress and lobster tee and blue shorts that range in size from 2 to 16 years. The youngest of the group keep it going with a fun “lobster on vacation” print and red and blue striped bubble romper.
While shopping for this board I came across a few other great alternatives:
This next board was fun to put together – Pool Party! If the dad person in your life loves to celebrate around a pool or beach, this one’s for you.

I selected a fun printed swim short for dad, complete with casual and classic Birkenstocks. I love the colors of the one shoulder swimsuit from Summersalt for mom. I added this beautiful and tropical feeling maxi dress to wear to and from the water fun!
The color continues with the kids suits. As a mom of three, I like a swimsuit with sleeves or rash guard because the less area I need to cover with sunscreen the better! I found a few more options to shop here:
Cheers to all the dads!
